Strategy
Aiming to reduce water consumption intensity in production processes and investing in water reuse technologies to minimize dependence on external water sources.
Risk management
Assessing water scarcity risks in factory areas and integrating collaboration with external organizations for shared water allocation.
Metrics and Targets
Setting water reduction targets per product weight and strictly monitoring the quality of water discharged into the environment.

Water management

Optimizing water efficiency
Improving processes and technologies to reduce water consumption and optimize water efficiency across all aspects of our business operations.
Application of the 3Rs principles
Reducing, reusing, and recycling water in the production process
Systematic monitoring and measurement of water usage
Implementing automated water monitoring and measurement systems to track and analyze water usage, and executing improvements based on the insights gained.
Water risk assessment
In terms of quantity, quality, and the monitoring of water consumption in areas with shared local water resources, such as groundwater and natural water bodies.

Innovation & Tech

The Company has implemented high-pressure nozzle technology to precisely control water direction and volume, alongside initiating the installation of automated screen cleaners that use eco-friendly chemicals to replace water and steam, tangibly enhancing efficiency and reducing water resource losses in operational processes.

Eco-friendly production process (Green Process)

The Company integrates water reduction measures through three core strategies:

(1) Water Reduction at Source: Upgrading technologies, such as installing roller-dipping systems and utilizing spray nozzles, to minimize unnecessary water loss.

(2) Water Recycling and Reuse: Reclaiming treated wastewater for non-food contact activities, such as watering green areas and utilizing it in odor treatment systems.

(3) Continuous Efficiency Improvement: Implementing condensate recovery projects in boiler systems to save both water resources and thermal energy.

Performance Achievements (Impact & Results)

Success in water risk management and efficiency measures has enabled the Company to maintain business continuity and sustainably minimize impacts on natural water resources.
